Gazebos Terms & Conditions
Gazebo Hire – Terms & Conditions of Use
Reigate Hot Tubs is fully insured and holds full public liability cover.
1. Your Responsibilities & Liability
- Reigate Hot Tubs accepts no responsibility for any damage, injuries, or death resulting from misuse of our gazebos or associated equipment.
- We are not liable for any damage to your property, including lawns, patios, decking, fencing, or surrounding structures. You are responsible for ensuring the setup area is suitable and safe.
- Please exercise caution and prevent unauthorised access to the gazebo at all times, especially by children.
- As the hirer, you are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all equipment provided. Any theft, loss, or damage must be paid for by the hirer.
- A cleaning charge will apply if the gazebo or accessories become excessively soiled during your hire.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited under or inside any gazebo. A charge will apply if damage occurs due to smoking or if there is evidence that smoking has taken place.
2. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
- Postponements: You may postpone your booking free of charge with at least 72 hours’ notice. A credit voucher equal to your original purchase price will be issued.
- Cancellations: If you cancel your booking, a refund will be issued minus a 20% cancellation fee.
- Within 72 hours: Cancellations made within 72 hours or less will also incur a 20% cancellation fee.
- Weather: All gazebo hires are weather‑dependent. If your booking cannot go ahead due to adverse weather, we will happily reschedule to another available date.
3. Equipment Use & Care
- A brief demonstration will be provided on delivery. For hires longer than one night, it is the hirer’s responsibility to correctly set up, secure, take down, and protect the gazebo as instructed.
- If the weather becomes unsafe (high winds, storms, heavy rain), it is the hirer’s responsibility to deflate, take down, cover, and secure the equipment to prevent damage.
- All equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
- Our inflatable igloos cannot be used in heavy rain or in winds above 15mph. We always check the forecast before your hire begins, but if the weather changes during your booking, the igloo must not be used. This is for safety and to prevent damage to the equipment.
- Inflatable gazebos are not air‑sealed; the fan must remain running to keep the gazebo inflated during use. When not in use, the fan may be switched off and the gazebo left to deflate.
- Gazebos are secured using sandbag weights, ground pegs, and guide ropes. These must not be removed at any time.
- Larger inflatable gazebos may require bolting into a hard surface such as concrete.
- Deflated gazebos must not be left resting on the hot tub motor, electrical equipment, or sharp objects.
- Gazebos must be placed on a level surface and properly secured. Inflatable gazebos must remain on the matting provided and must not come into direct contact with the ground. If deflation is required, protective sheeting must be placed underneath.
- Do not move the gazebo once installed unless instructed by Reigate Hot Tubs.
4. Equipment Failure
- If the gazebo or fan stops working, please report it immediately. We will attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
- If the problem cannot be fixed, you will be reimbursed for the days the gazebo was unusable.
5. Hirer’s Responsibility
- You are responsible for the care, security, and correct use of all equipment throughout the hire period.
- Any loss of, or damage to, equipment or accessories must be paid for by the hirer.
- Failure to pay for damage may result in a claim being pursued through the small claims court.
